Job Description
Gigamon is seeking a qualified Staff SW QA Engineer to validate Gigamon's network visibility fabric product. The role involves cross-functional team collaboration, test automation, system testing, and automation strategy development. The company fosters a dynamic, growing environment.
Requirements
- BS in CS or related field
- 6+ years of hands-on quality, development, or automation experience in virtualization and networking space
- Hand-on experience with various test automation framework (Robot, Python)
- Demonstrated experience in testing UI/UX performance and usability
- Experience in various aspects of systems test, and in QA processes
- Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, IPv4, IPv6, NAT, REST)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP layer, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL protocols, REST services
- Experience in validating deliverables in virtualized environments
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
