Job Description
Gilbane is seeking a highly motivated Safety Manager to oversee all safety efforts on a large, ongoing construction project. This role involves leading safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The company emphasizes building diverse and inclusive teams and provides opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Supports all safety efforts on the project
- Ensures contractor activities are preplanned for safety
- Ensures contractors meet Gilbane safety submittal requirements
- Maintains all safety related documentation
- Conducts at least 15 SafetyNet inspections per month
- Analyzes SafetyNet trends and develops action plans
- Provides and analyzes SafetyNet reporting with project team
- Coaches project team on hazard identification
- Investigates accidents/near misses
- Provides and analyzes SafetyNet trending reports with project team
- Manages workload and performance of direct reports
- Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment
