The Community Engagement Specialist is a results-driven go-getter who thrives on building connections and hitting ambitious goals. They serve as the face of Girl Scouts, sparking interest, forging partnerships, and growing membership by recruiting girls and adult volunteers.

Requirements

• Achieve girl and adult membership goals by implementing recruitment and lead generation strategies
• Plan, prioritize, and manage recruitment activities independently
• Represent GSCO at community events and school functions
• Maintain accurate and timely recruitment events and follow-up with new leads and referrals
• Cultivate relationships with schools and community leaders to increase visibility of Girl Scouts
• Study and become proficient in girl and adult related trends, marketing and sales techniques, and effective communication
• Provide professional customer service to all internal and external customers
• Actively participate in the development of environments that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access
