Job Description
Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is seeking a Summer Sailing Instructor/Lifeguard to work at Camp Juniper Knoll for 11 months. The role involves supervising campers and staff in lakefront aquatic activities with an emphasis in sailing, including on-site instruction, program activities, and water-based activities. Candidates must be responsible for supervising and guiding campers and staff.
Requirements
- Loves to interact with children
- Enjoys spending time outdoors
- High school diploma or GED
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding certifications (lifeguard preferred)
- Proof of health physical clearing for camp work
- Willingness to work in indoor/outdoor settings, including limited technology and variable hours
