The Activities Coordinator supports camp programs and activities in compliance with GSGLA safety standards.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age as stated by the LA County Children’s Camp Guidelines.
- Must be available for 8 weeks of day camp (June 15, 2026 - August 7, 2026) and training dates that will be scheduled prior to camp.
- Must possess and maintain a valid CPR/First Aid Certification throughout the position’s employment dates.
- Must have documented experience teaching or interacting with youth program.
- Must submit a basic health history form as set by the American Camping Association.
- Must hold current archery and high ropes certifications or willing to obtain by the start of camp.
- Ability to spend time sitting, utilizing the computer, and standing and walking throughout the facilities.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds periodically.
- Must possess endurance including prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Must have documented training and experience leading high ropes/challenge courses within the past two years.
