Job Description
GiveDirectly is seeking a Country Director for Uganda to lead the country office in its entirety. The role involves program management, fundraising, strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with government officials and donors. GD aims to impact the world by giving cash directly to the world’s poorest, with a mission to eliminate extreme poverty and accelerate the end of extreme poverty through innovative approaches to aid delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in non-profit country management, organizational leadership, or program management
- Proven experience leading government and external stakeholder partnerships
- Ability to lead and set strategic vision at a national level
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong organizational and/or project management skills
- Authorization to work in Uganda or ability to obtain such authorization
