Clean, set-up, operate, and tend continuous flow of systems such as scales, blenders, hoppers, extruder, dryer/cooler, packaging, according to customized order descriptions. All employees are expected to immediately communicate any food safety or quality issues to their manager for resolution.
Requirements
- READ & COMPREHEND - Able to read customized orders and interpret stated information.
- DOCUMENT- Gathers and accurately records data on a customized order packet and production tracking system.
- COORDINATE—Able to sequence and prioritize tasks to accomplish production goals.
- COMMUNICATE—Able to communicate clearly while working in a team with systems partner and systems supervisor to pro-actively avoid delays in the process.
- DECISION MAKING—Makes informed decisions and knows when to ask for help.
- INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/BEHAVIORS – Deals with individuals in a tactful manner. Able to associate with PacMoore customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to give a positive impression of the Company.
- PHYSICAL STRENGTH—Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- PHYSICAL MOVEMENT—Occasional climbing, stooping (bending body forward and down), crouching (bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine), reaching (extending arms and hands in any direction), and handling (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands).
- Must have the physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements.
- Must be able to read at an 8th grade level and pass pre-employment reading and basic math works samples
- Demonstrates interpersonal behaviors required for effectively communicating with co-workers and working cooperatively.
- Ability to make effective decisions within established guidelines.
