Job Description
Global Atlantic is seeking a qualified Associate to support the operational accounting and reporting for derivatives within its various insurance subsidiaries. The role involves reviewing monthly reconciliations, preparing derivative footnotes, and supporting process re-design to enhance efficiency and accuracy of investment results. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley and NAIC standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Investment Accounting and/or Investment/Treasury Operations
- Experience in insurance company Investment GAAP and Statutory reporting and/or Treasury accounting helpful
- Experience in successful process redesign from system enhancements and conversion
