Underground Utility Pipe Layer

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Underground Utility Pipe Layer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining underground pipes, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience preferred
• Strong industry experience specific to construction, or equivalent knowledge
• Understanding of pipe types, fittings, tools, and installation methods
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
• Capability to work in confined spaces and at varying depths
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, or trenchers
• Familiarity with GPS equipment for trench and grade accuracy
