Job Description
Global Relay is a leading enterprise information archiving company with over 20 years of experience in cloud archiving, surveillance, and analytics. They are seeking a highly motivated Kubernetes/DevOps System Administrator to maintain reliable Linux systems, automate infrastructure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production. The role involves collaboration with team members, incident response, and contributing to architectural goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals (control plane, scheduler, kubelet, etc.)
- Experience with on-premises Kubernetes and/or managed services
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration and containerization (Docker)
- Experience in automating manual tasks with scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) and configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems
- Experience in troubleshooting networking issues
- Experience working in Agile based teams
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration and containerization
