Job Description
GlossGenius is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their Foundations Engineering team at a remote position in San Francisco or NYC. The role focuses on shaping the security of their product portfolio, conducting security reviews, developing security policies, and managing vulnerability programs. The engineer will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure security is a core part of the building process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application or product security roles
- Strong ability to collaborate with software development teams
- Experience performing architecture reviews/threat models
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with security libraries/tools
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities
- Basic development or scripting skills
- Fundamental knowledge of network and web protocols
