Job Description
Chevin is seeking an experienced SQL DBA to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of efficiently optimizing Azure SQL databases and will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Chevin's SQL databases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DBA with Azure cloud-based database services
- Knowledge of Azure Services design, configuration, and maintenance
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent
- Shell scripting experience using shell interpreters like PowerShell and Bash
- Expertise in SQL execution plans, indexing, and query tuning to optimize performance in high-transaction environments
