Job Description
The Head Cook position is responsible for providing daily meals to participants of the Daycare center. The position requires a food handlers license and knowledge of CACFP. The Cook will maintain a clean and organized kitchen, place food/supply orders, and work collaboratively with consultants to maintain the menu and food needs for participants.
Requirements
- Food handlers License
- Knowledge of CACFP
- Tech savvy
- Ability to place order over the phone or online
- Ability to maintain food production reports and track meals
- Ability to follow the guidance for food substitutions for children with allergies or food preferences
