Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of professional web development experience
Strong frontend expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), CSS tools (SCSS, Tailwind), mobile and cross-browser development
Experience with performance optimization, SEO, accessibility, UI/UX principles, email development, image optimization, and third-party integrations
Strong backend experience with PHP and WordPress
Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar), API integrations, migrations, Linux/CLI, backend performance optimization, and familiarity with DevOps practices
Infrastructure knowledge including hosting environments, deployments, Git repositories, SSL, Docker or similar containerization, Apache servers, networking concepts, encryption basics, and email infrastructure
Development best practices including Git, security standards, testing/QA, monitoring and analytics tools, troubleshooting, documentation, scalability concepts, and staying current with evolving technologies (including AI tools)
Experience developing mobile or desktop applications (hybrid or native)
Professional and soft skills such as clear communication, collaboration, project and task management, client focus, problem-solving, attention to detail, leadership/mentorship, ownership, reliability, and continuous learning
