Job Description
GoFundMe is seeking a Lead Data Architect to modernize and scale their data platform, focusing on scalability, security, and interoperability. The role involves designing a cloud-native data ecosystem, establishing modeling standards, and partnering with engineering teams to integrate new technologies. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, or data engineering
- 5+ years of experience with modern cloud-native data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, MDM, CDPs)
- Hands-on experience with Looker or other BI/semantic modeling tools
- Expertise in graph-based data models, recommendation systems, and personalization architectures
- Proficiency with streaming/event-driven data pipelines and real-time processing
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and feature stores
- Strong foundation in data governance, lineage, cataloging, and compliance frameworks
