GoMining is seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design and optimize databases, ensuring high performance and reliability in fast-paced fintech and crypto environments. The role involves database architecture, optimization, maintenance, collaboration with development teams, and automation of database management tasks. A strong understanding of data warehousing and a passion for data architecture are essential.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL
- Experience with high availability, replication, clustering, and sharding
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, or other procedural languages
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for databases
- Experience with automation and CI/CD for database deployment
- Solid understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery
- Experience with cloud-managed databases (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, DigitalOcean Managed DBs)
