Job Description
Gong is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java technologies. The role involves analyzing and solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with product and UX teams, and owning features throughout their lifecycle. Gong values employee ownership and empowers individuals to solve impactful problems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale backend development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and data-oriented applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
