Operations Manager

Oversee and direct the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements

• Promote and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Goodfellas Pizzeria and Wiseguy Lounge
• Ensure compliance with health and fire regulations
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness
• Monitor food preparation methods and portion sizes
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations
• Control cash and other receipts
• Investigate and resolve complaints
• Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel
• Review financial statements and sales reports
• Monitor budgets and payroll records
• Maintain food and equipment inventories
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties
• Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
• Plan menus and food utilization
• Test cooked food by tasting and smelling it
• Organize and direct worker training programs
• Order and purchase equipment and supplies
• Review work procedures and operational problems
• Assess staffing needs and recruit staff
• Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs
• Record the number, type, and cost of items sold
• Review menus and analyze recipes
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed
• Monitor employee and guest activities
• Schedule use of facilities or catering services
• Develop, plan, and implement restaurant marketing and promotional activities
• Estimate food, liquor, wine, and other beverage consumption
• Create specialty dishes and develop recipes
• Establish and enforce nutritional standards
