Staff Accountant

Support the accounting department in day-to-day general ledger accounting, financial analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in systems improvements and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-4 years general accounting experience, including extensive knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, detail-oriented, solutions driven, positive attitude, ability to multitask and work in an evolving accounting department
• Knowledge of various aspects of accounting and payroll related functions and software packages
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong Financial System Skills
• Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel / Word skills
