Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical

The Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing data center systems, providing daily assistance to technicians, and managing the uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, and electrical distribution systems. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and experience working in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of Electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in industrial or commercial environment
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts
