Data Center Facilities Technician II, Electrical

The Data Center team at Google designs and operates sophisticated electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and HVAC systems. Facilities Technicians operate, monitor, and support physical facilities conditions, including heating and cooling, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field
• 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment and use OSHA standard safety equipment
• Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts
• Experience in maintenance and operations of electrical distribution systems or technical environment
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment
