Data Center Mechanical Engineer

The Data Center Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in the field-level implementation and operational support of Google's rapidly expanding data centers. They will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of complex HVAC and mechanical distribution systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, swiftly, and with high quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design, construction environments, and their mechanical infrastructure
• 5 years of experience with mechanical infrastructure systems such as HVAC, cooling systems, and water system engineering
• 5 years of experience with data center operations and working with mechanical contractors and cross-functional project teams
• 5 years of experience with electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures, including resolution and comprehensive documentation maintenance for mechanical designs
