Senior Software Engineering Manager, AI/ML, Google Cloud AI

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, oversee the deployment of large-scale projects, and drive technical project strategy. You will work on AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud's mission and collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure
• 5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
