Software Engineer III, Google System

Software engineers at Google develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ or more programming languages
• Master's degree or an advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience in software/hardware integration, system bring-up, and diagnostics
• Experience with open source development or Open Compute Projects (OCP)
• Experience in the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) (e.g., Automated Mainframe Intelligence (AMI) BMC or OpenBMC) or Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) development, machine management software development, or Linux kernel development
• Experience in Python and scripting languages (e.g., Shell)
