Strategic Cloud Engineer, Google Public Sector

The Google Cloud team helps companies, schools, and government seamlessly make the switch to Google products and supports them along the way. As a Strategic Cloud Engineer on the Artificial Intelligence Catalyst Team (ACT), you will be the technical engine that drives the deployment and scaling of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions across Google Public Sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
• Experience with one or more general-purpose languages (e.g., Java, C++, Go, Python).
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native architecture.
• Certifications in Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., VPC, DNS, Load Balancing) and cloud security protocols.
• Familiarity with data processing workflows or the deployment of machine learning models.
• Excellent technical writing skills with a focus on creating clear, actionable documentation for engineering teams.
