Job Description
Supplier Quality Engineer, Mechanical: Evaluate product designs, create processes and tools, and collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to ensure quality and reliability standards. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensure supplier readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing or Product Engineer
- Experience with mechanical (e.g., sheet metal, plastic) and manufacturing process
- Experience with quality process and tools (e.g., supplier audit/qualification, Quality Management System (QMS), process capability assessment, process control, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time internationally
