Job Description
This is an in-person full-time position for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York, offering the opportunity to provide exceptional mental health services. The role involves developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with other professionals. Strong interpersonal skills and adherence to ethical guidelines are required.
Requirements
- Develop customized treatment plans.
- Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Stay informed about trends.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
- Active New York State license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
- At least two years of counseling experience.
- Specialization in trauma, substance use, or family counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with ethical and legal guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
