The Environmental Services Technician performs various cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This includes daily cleaning tasks, emptying trash, and restocking supplies.
Requirements
- Daily perform a variety of assigned cleaning tasks
- Empty hampers, transport clean and soiled linens, and assist with laundry as needed
- Empty trash containers and remove all trash to keep work areas trash free
- Clean patient rooms to specified standards
- Inventory, restock, and replenish supplies
- May perform special projects such as windows washing, wall washing, removing heavily soiled items or floor finishing
