Licensed Dentist - Teledentistry

GoToTelemed is looking for a Licensed Dentist to provide remote dental consultations and care through advanced telecommunication technologies. The ideal candidate will have a Dentistry degree from an accredited dental school, current active dental license, and experience in teledentistry or virtual patient care.

Requirements

• Conduct virtual dental assessments and consultations, providing patients with timely and effective care
• Diagnose dental conditions and establish treatment plans for patients
• Educate patients on dental hygiene and preventive care practices during consultations
• Close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes in the EHR
• Ensure compliance with telehealth regulations and best practices in teledentistry
• Stay current with advancements in telehealth technology and dental practices
• Reliable Internet Connection: Minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speed
• Secure, Distraction-Free Workspace: Professional home office or private workspace with HIPAA-compliant setup
• Appropriate Hardware: Computer or laptop with webcam, microphone, and secure headset
• Licensing Verification: Valid state dental licenses, proof of education (DDS or DMD diploma), and DEA registration if prescribing
• Background Check: Successful completion of FBI criminal background check; reference checks may be required
• Professional Liability Insurance Eligibility: No active malpractice claims or pending disciplinary investigations
