Job Description
GovCIO is seeking a Construction Engineering Technician to provide all necessary services for the construction of a Guantanamo Bay facility. This role involves the maintenance of project documentation, review of plans and specifications, coordination of meetings, and overall project management. The technician will support the NAVFAC SE in the enforcement of contract provisions and work towards quality control and safety. The position requires strong knowledge of quality management processes and safety standards.
Requirements
- Technical and practical knowledge and experience (at least 3 years) in an engineering technology role.
- USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management Certification for Contractors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the three-phases of control Quality Management process.
- Ability to review and interpret technical engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software.
- Ability to perform strenuous activity in extreme environments and a good understanding of safety and occupational health principles.
