GovCIO is currently hiring for an IT Project Manager to support Head Quarters Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2). The position will be located in Hampton, VA and will be an onsite position. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering complex projects in secure environments, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and driving structured implementation activities from planning through sustainment.
Requirements
- Lead the development of enterprise implementation plans, schedules, milestones, and risk frameworks for QSD-related requirements across classified DoD networks
- Coordinate closely with ESCs, engineering groups, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders to ensure synchronized execution
- Facilitate requirements gathering, impact analyses, and integration planning for new QSD service capabilities and enhancements
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of implementation activities, including design reviews, readiness assessments, testing coordination, deployment, and post‐deployment validation
- Maintain structured project documentation, including charters, plans, briefings, risk registers, change requests, and executive status reports
- Monitor progress against baselines and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependency conflicts across multiple enterprise workstreams
- Ensure all project actions comply with DoD cybersecurity, accreditation, and configuration management requirements
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and leadership, translating complex technical considerations into clear operational impacts
- Support continuous improvement efforts within QSD processes and enterprise service delivery models
