IT Service Technician

GovCIO is hiring an IT Service Technician to provide onsite support for a federal customer. The role will be located in Lee's Summit, MO and will involve troubleshooting and maintaining various IT systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have a high degree of technical proficiency and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Provide support for all onsite IT activities
• Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems
• Coordinate and perform operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various IT products and equipment
• Deliver services and solutions in technical support, systems refresh, software integration, and operations support
• Provide onsite training of customer support personnel
• Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions
• Install operating system patches, upgrades, etc.
• Provide remote support services for telework/home users
• Manage user relocation requests
• Ensure devices are properly encrypted
• Local On-Site Cabling
• Provide on-site support for enterprise groups
• Restart network equipment
• Replace defective network equipment
• Assist users with mobile communication devices
• Provide tier 2 support
• Asset Inventory Support
• Disposal Preparation Support
• Video Conferencing and Audio/Video O&M
• Troubleshoot system problems
• Assist tier 1 Service Desk with answering user calls
• Other duties as assigned
