Senior Network Architect/SME in Enterprise Level Data Center and Cloud

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Network Architect/SME in Enterprise Level Data Center and Cloud for our NIH-CIT proposal. The position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position. The role involves coordinating with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services, leading the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams, and providing subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level data center and Enterprise-Cloud.

Requirements

• Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services
• Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams
• Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level data center and Enterprise-Cloud
• Strategically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services
• Software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
• Team with the Security Section to achieve security architecture requirements
• Maintain technical architecture documentation
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Change management
• Support resources responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
• Strategic Transformative planning for network architecture services
