We are looking for a Transit Bus Operator to transport students, employees, patients, and visitors in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. This is a vital role requiring strong operational knowledge, attention to safety, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating public transportation or heavy vehicles
• Valid NC Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements
• Valid DOT medical card
• Strong understanding of traffic regulations and safe vehicle operation
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems
• Must pass all required background checks, drug testing, and physical requirements
