Desk Assistant - Sydney

GrainCorp is seeking a Desk Assistant to enable accurate valuation of trading books, timely verification of contracts, and track settlement for customers. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and experience in commodity trading, or a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Requirements

• Verification of physical & derivative trade contracts
• Running daily end of day in trading system
• Timely and accurate processing and settlement of grain received/sold to counterparties for Track contracts and washouts
• Settle derivative contracts and perform a daily reconciliation of derivative positions
• Work with traders for any unreconciled items
