Director of Operations - Mental Health

The Director, Mental Health will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Grampians Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (GMHWS) to deliver high-quality, responsive services with a strong focus on consumer and carer experience.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in health, management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading mental health programs and services, with a strong emphasis on consumer and carer-centred care.
• Demonstrated senior leadership and management capability within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health policy, service frameworks, and system reform.
• Proven knowledge of quality, safety, and risk management frameworks, including Victorian mental health legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and embed change within complex service environments.
