Job Description
Granite State Manufacturing (GSM) is seeking an experienced Class A CNC Lathe Operator to join their precision machining team. This position requires independent operation of advanced CNC turning equipment, including programming, setup, and initial inspection. The role supports a demanding production schedule and serves the U.S. Navy program.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe experience, including setups and operation of VTL or multi-axis turning centers.
- Proficient with Fanuc, Okuma OSP, or ProtoTRAK controls.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques.
- Experience machining large and complex components from a variety of materials.
