Job Description
This CNC Programmer Class A position focuses on machining fixture development and programming using CAMworks and SolidWorks. The role involves implementing machining processes while maintaining quality and cost efficiency, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing staff. The position also involves assisting with product introduction (NPI) and troubleshooting equipment and tooling issues. The company emphasizes a commitment to safety and a professional work environment.
Requirements
- Produce CNC programs for multi axis vertical and horizontal machining centers.
- Produce CNC programs for horizontal lathes and vertical turret lathes.
- Assist in developing fixturing to achieve proper work holding and access to features.
- Assist manufacturing engineering with setup sheets and tooling lists.
- Reduce production costs through new programming methods and tooling.
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in a professional, safe, and clean work environment.
