Senior Board Manufacturing Test Engineer

The Product Test and Diagnosis team requires a Senior Board Manufacturing Test Engineer to define and develop test solutions using techniques such as boundary scan and embedded functional test. The role requires close interaction with the hardware design team and other parts of the PTD team.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing test of advanced electronic systems
• Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of electronics
• Thorough understanding of SMT / PCB manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms
• Thorough understanding of JTAG 1149 boundary scan test techniques
• Experience in the local and remote use of test instruments
• Ability to work with internal teams such as software, silicon design and hardware design
• Ability to solve problems in complex electronic systems
• Good communication skills
