Job Description
This 12-week seasonal position involves operating a commercial motor vehicle to pick up and deliver donated products to the Greater Chicago Food Depository in the Chicagoland area. The role requires a strong commitment to customer service and involves working in a warehouse environment with occasional inclement driving weather and exposure to refrigerator and freezer environments.
Requirements
- CDL - B
- 1-2 Years of Class B vehicle major city driving experience
- Valid State of Illinois Commercial Driver's License
- Air-brake endorsement
- Food Handling and Sanitation Certificate
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry between equipment and vehicles
