Job Description
The school seeks an outstanding educator to promote and support excellence in mathematics instruction in Preschool and Lower School. This is a full-time, 10-month, exempt position with some evening and weekend work required.
Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. in math instruction and/or Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- 3-5 years of prior teaching experience with elementary or early childhood students
- Knowledge of Bridges Math program is preferred
- Competency with student-centered technology
- Decision making with divisional curriculum planning and coordination
- Designing developmentally appropriate lessons for students in Preschool and Lower School
- Teaching and assessing mathematical competencies for students in PreK – 4th grade
