Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- Successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities for long-term care facilities
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian
- Demonstrated independent decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage survey tasks
- Ability to handle conflicts and seek assistance
