Senior Controls Engineer

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects for a dynamic industrial automation firm. The role involves designing, implementing, and commissioning control systems using PLC, HMI/SCADA, and DCS/DeltaV systems, with mentoring and project profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• PMP certification (a plus)
• 8+ years in industrial automation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS/DeltaV)
• 2-3 years minimum with Emerson DeltaV
• Experience with PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions
• Project management for systems up to $10M
• Technical skills in PLC platforms (Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon), HMI/SCADA (Ignition, FactoryTalk, Aveva, GE iFIX), programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, VBA, SQL, Python), and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
