Quality Inspector

Performs inspections and audits on aircraft interior components, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, FAA regulations, and company quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills required
• Minimum of three years' experience in aircraft interior inspection or related aerospace quality role
• Ability to lead personnel and have strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the department
• Working knowledge of various measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.
• Familiar with Quality and inspection concepts and processes
• Ability to read blueprints, pack slips, invoices, and other customer supplied data
• Ability to read measuring instruments
• Familiar with engineering programs
• Capability to determine sample size for lots
• Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities within deadlines and take initiative to produce results with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally)
• Familiarity with AS9100 preferred
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to work outside of core business hours as required
