Job Description
Greenwich Country Day School is seeking a Science Fellow to co-teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Science and working with Upper School students, along with a strong desire to learn about independent school teaching.
Requirements
- Mentored instructional responsibility for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in assigned grade level(s)
- Assist with staffing our Math Lab
- Collaboration with mentor teachers to provide instruction
- Effective communication and partnership with parents
- Supervision of students during recess, lunch, arrival, and dismissal as requested by the Division Head
- Significant participation in the life of the school, including coaching, covering classes as necessary, advising clubs, etc.
