Job Description
The 2nd Shift: Sr. Maintenance Technician role at Greif involves ensuring the reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of equipment, reading and interpreting equipment manuals, and adhering to plant safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with injection molding machines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate issues and solutions to team members effectively
- Ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
