Controls Software Engineer

The Controls Software Engineer role focuses on industrial controls, involving machine software development, simulation, and support. An initial training phase with a Senior Designer will be provided, followed by full-cycle work developing machine solutions. The role requires understanding of regulations (IEC, ISO), customer specifications, and applying engineering standards.

Requirements

• Understand and perform all controls engineering tasks
• Support Senior Designers and Project Engineers
• Generate software solutions (PLC, Robot, Vision, HMI)
• Evaluate customer specifications
• Apply international and national standards
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Knowledge of electrical design
• Computer programming experience (C#, Visual Basic)
• Siemens PLC knowledge is a plus
• Allen Bradley PLC knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of industrial robotics is a plus
• General requirements (Self-motivated, team player, strong math skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office)
• Willingness to work overtime
• Willingness to travel domestic and international
• Valid passport
