Job Description
Groendyke Transport, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain truck-tractors, semi-cargo tank trailers, and shop equipment. This role ensures equipment is safe, timely, and cost-effective, with full and accurate records. The position involves troubleshooting, welding, and adhering to company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Inspect, repair, and perform routine maintenance on truck-tractors and semi-cargo tank trailers
- Use power and hand tools for repairs and replacements
- Apply welding skills when necessary
- Maintain maintenance records
- Perform FHWA inspections and follow cargo tank entry procedures
- Diagnose and repair electronic powertrain components and trailer ABS systems
- Provide guidance to Level B and C technicians
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Pass a pre-employment physical
