Job Description
1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead all aspects of the union's financial operations. The role involves overseeing the union's budget, aligning financial resources with strategic goals, providing accounting and financial analysis, managing a team, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for a union of over 450,000 members. The union is a leader in healthcare worker rights, actively advocating for fair wages, good benefits, and social justice.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of financial management in a senior leadership capacity
- Financial management experience with an organization with operations in excess of $50 million
- Comprehensive knowledge of Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) and non-profit financial practices
- Extensive knowledge of financial planning and management systems, accounting, and financial reporting procedures
