Job Description
People Over Pollution is seeking a Campaign Strategist to manage a comprehensive organizing and grantmaking program to help stop the build out of the petrochemical industry and support the movement of grassroots advocates fighting petrochemicals.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience working in political advocacy, campaign management, or government relations, focusing on environmental or climate-related issues.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful political strategies, including candidate endorsements, issue-based campaigns, and grassroots organizing.
- Strong knowledge of the political landscape in Louisiana, the Ohio River Valley (OH, PA, WV) and/or Texas, including a good understanding of state politics and environmental laws and policy.
